We built Tera to help you celebrate every milestone of your wellness journey, and we designed our privacy practices around putting you in full control of your personal transformation diary.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to deliver the Tera experience you expect, broken into the categories below:

Information You Provide Directly

• Personal Progress Data: Body metrics (weight, body measurements, and other body composition data you input), daily progress check-in photos you upload to build your transformation timeline, and milestone notes you add to your personal diary.
• Account Information (optional): If you create an account to enable cloud sync across devices, we collect basic account credentials to secure your data.
• Communication Data: If you reach out to us for support or feedback, we collect your contact information and the content of your message.

Automatic Technical Information

We collect non-identifiable technical data to improve app performance, including basic device information (device type, operating system version) and anonymized usage data (such as which features you use most often). We never tie this data to your personal body information or identifiable personal details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We only use your information to deliver and improve the core Tera experience aligned with our mission:

• To power core Tera features: Enable one-tap daily photo check-ins, build your visual transformation timeline, and let you smoothly compare past and present progress to tangibly witness your evolution and support a holistic, positive relationship with your body.
• To keep your data safe and accessible: Sync your data across devices if you enable cloud backup, prevent technical issues, and maintain app stability.
• To improve our service: Use anonymized, aggregated usage data to refine existing features and build new tools that better meet your body management needs.
• To respond to your requests: Answer your support questions and address any feedback you provide to improve your experience.

4. Data Storage & Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your deeply personal transformation data:

• By default, all your progress data is stored locally on your personal device. We cannot access your private progress photos or body metrics unless you explicitly choose to enable cloud sync.
• If you enable cloud sync, all your personal data is encrypted both in transit and at rest on our servers. Only you can access your personal transformation diary.
• We regularly update our security practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
• We will never sell, rent, or share your identifiable personal body data or progress photos with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Sharing Your Information

We only share your information in very limited circumstances:

• When you explicitly choose to share: If you actively decide to share your transformation milestones or timeline with friends or family via Tera, we only share the specific data you select.
• With trusted service providers: We only work with third-party providers who help us operate and improve Tera, and they are required to keep your data secure and only process it per our instructions.
• When required to protect safety and legal obligations: We may disclose your information if necessary to protect our rights, the safety of Tera users, or comply with applicable legal process.

6. Your Rights & Control Over Your Data

You retain full ownership and control over all your personal data at all times. You can:

• Access, update, edit, or delete any of your progress photos, metrics, or notes directly in the app at any time.
• Export a full copy of your entire transformation diary in a universal format at any time.
• Delete your account and all cloud-stored data permanently at any time, with no ongoing retention of your personal information.
• Withdraw any consent you previously gave us for processing your data at any time.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or service offerings. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or email before the new policy takes effect. The most current version of this policy will always be available within the Tera app and on our official website.
